A look back at Learning Technologies 2019

This year, Wranx exhibited at and sponsored  Learning Technologies for the fourth year running – and it was a busy, but fantastic, two days! The event usually has around 8,500 visitors, alongside 150 L&D seminars and 200+ exhibitors, and was hosted at ExCel London.

We were back this year with a brand new stand and four giant iTabs! We used the iTabs to demonstrate our brand new user interface, which is due to launch later this month. The giant iTabs are always a hit with visitors of the stand and they showcased our new interface perfectly!

Our Sales Director, Tony Martin, hosted his own seminar in Theatre 7 on both days of this year’s event. ‘Assessments and Measurability: how to know if training is working’ covered new approaches to assessing employee knowledge and the most important metrics for a true indication of workforce ability. This included discussions about Certainty Based Marking (CBM) assessments and the use of real-time analytics. Tony’s seminar was recorded and will be published soon for anyone who couldn’t make it!

Tony also wrote an article for the Learning Technologies UK e-Magazine – What does it mean to be digital? – which discusses the use of technology within L&D and if the LMS is enough for constantly evolving workforces.

We also had a slot in the Demo Zone this year, where a member of our Sales Team, Thomas, demoed the platform and walked an audience through a bite-sized daily drill while discussing Spaced Repetition.

To celebrate the end of a fantastic and productive two days, we were giving away free glasses of fizz! A great way to mark the end of Learning Technologies 2019 (and also Valentines Day). We had a great time at the exhibition and networked with a variety of new people whose responses to the product were overwhelmingly positive.
