The must-see speakers at DevLearn 2019!

This October, the Wranx Team will be attending the 15th anniversary of the DevLearn exhibition and conference in Las Vegas!

This exhibition is dedicated to looking at both the current and future trends and technologies that are impacting Learning and Development. If you’re planning on attending this year, make sure you stop by Stand 819 where we will be doing live demos of our platform.

We will be showcasing our unique method of presenting answers to learners, encouraging active recall, and then embedding information further through our Personalised Spaced Repetition algorithm. This method of learning has proved successful for a range of our clients, including The North Face®, IGT and DFIN, who use Wranx to reinforce a range of training from retail-based to compliance and company processes.

DevLearn will also be hosting a range of captivating keynote speakers throughout the 3 days. They will be covering topics such as the future of work, innovation and trending learning technologies.

This includes Sophia the Robot, an advanced humanoid robot who has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and is DevLearn’s first ever robot keynote speaker. In this unique opening speech, she will be talking about the rapid changes of the workplace and how technology, like her own, will become embedded in our everyday lives.

Other keynote speakers include Talitha Williams, the associate dean for research and experiential learning at Harvey Mudd College, who will be discussing the next big technological disruption: data. Another speaker to watch out for is Dr Helen Papagiannis, author of Augmented Human. She will be discussing the cutting-edge concept of Augmented Reality (AR), its impact, and how it has become a rapidly growing business over the last few years.

Of course, there will be many sessions going on throughout the 3 days of the event, alongside an exhibition hall jam-packed with a variety of learning technology providers. So if you’re attending DevLearn this year, make sure you stop by Stand 819!
